In the SAFe® POPM training, you will develop the necessary skills to steer the value streams in a Lean Enterprise as a SAFe® 6.0 Product Owner / Product Manager. In the two-day course, you will gain an in-depth understanding of your role within the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and how value is created in the program increment.
You will learn to use lean thinking to divide epics into features and stories. With hands-on examples, you'll learn how Features and Stories refine how the program and team backlogs are governed. You will also know how iterations and program executions are planned and implemented. Furthermore, you will be explained how a continuous delivery pipeline and a DevOps culture contribute to the constant optimization of ART services.
Although the SAFe system of best and integrated practices synthesizes much knowledge and hundreds of deployments, only some methods will apply. Therefore, it is essential to use these SAFe principles as a guide. They can help you find solutions to more complex problems, apply them to your unique circumstances, and stay on the path of continuous improvement.
